By using TaxiMaurice.mu or contacting us via phone, WhatsApp, or email to request taxi services, airport transfers, or tours, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services Provided
TaxiMaurice.mu provides:
Private taxi services
Airport transfers (arrival and departure)
Sightseeing tours and excursions
Hotel pickups, local trips, and customised itineraries
All services are provided on a private basis, unless otherwise agreed.
2. Bookings and Confirmations
Bookings can be made via WhatsApp, phone call, or email.
A booking is considered confirmed once we acknowledge availability and agree on the details.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate pickup information, dates, times, and contact details.
3. Pricing and Payments
Prices are communicated at the time of booking.
Prices may vary depending on distance, duration, waiting time, and itinerary changes.
Payments are typically made in cash unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Any additional stops or changes requested during the trip may result in additional charges.
4. Airport Transfers
For airport pickups, customers must provide correct flight details.
Reasonable flight delays are accommodated when details are shared in advance.
If a customer fails to arrive or provide updated information, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
5. Tours and Excursions
Tours are flexible and can be adjusted based on customer preferences.
Entrance fees, activity tickets, meals, and boat trips are not included unless specifically stated.
Waiting time at attractions is included only if agreed at the time of booking.
6. Cancellations and No-Shows
Please inform us as early as possible if you need to cancel or change a booking.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges, especially for airport transfers or long-distance bookings.
We aim to be fair and reasonable in all cases.
7. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers agree to:
Wear seat belts where available
Respect the vehicle and driver
Follow local laws and safety instructions
Smoking, illegal substances, or unsafe behaviour in the vehicle are not permitted.
8. Liability
TaxiMaurice.mu is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or events beyond our control.
We are not liable for loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle.
Travel insurance is recommended for all visitors.
9. Service Area
Services are primarily provided in Bel Ombre, Le Morne, and the South West Coast of Mauritius, with transfers to other regions available upon request.
10. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. Any changes will be published on this page and take effect immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
